Alasdair Good
Head PGA Professional
Alasdair joined Gullane as Head Professional in 2003, bringing with him a wealth of experience across coaching, retail, and all aspects of club professional duties.
Before arriving at Gullane, he worked at some of Britain’s leading golf clubs, including Sunningdale, Foxhills and Royal Troon. During his time at Foxhills, he founded the junior coaching initiative Wee Wonders in 1995.
Wee Wonders, which began at Foxhills and continued to grow after Alasdair moved to Gullane, has since become a nationwide junior programme for children aged 5–12. It has introduced thousands of young players to the game, with notable alumni including Aaron Rai, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrell Hatton, Marco Penge, Mimi Rhodes, Charlie Hull, Leona Maguire, Bob MacIntyre and Matt Fitzpatrick.
At Gullane, Alasdair oversees all aspects of the professional operation — including pro-shop management, coaching, fittings, lessons, junior-golf programmes and club events — ensuring a consistently high standard of service across the club.
Alasdair has been a TaylorMade Ambassador for over 20 years.
Outside of the Head Professional Role, Alasdair enjoys spending time with his family and 2 pro shop favourites, Bonnie and Darcy.

Russell McIntyre
Professional Shop Manager - PGA Professional
Russell first joined the team at Gullane in 2012, before returning as Shop Manager in 206, following positions at Whitekirk and Dunbar. he oversees all aspects of the daily operation across both shops.
After turning professional in 2007, Russel completed his PGA training at Prestonfield Golf Club and later moved to Quinta do lago in Portugal to further his career.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as strongman training in the gym with his friends.
Russell has played Titleist clubs for his entire life and been a Titleist and FootJoy Ambassador since 2022.

Craig Black
Assistant Professional Shop Manager
Born and raised in Gullane, Craig discovered his love for golf in his early twenties and it didn’t take long for the game to click. He progressed quickly, turning his passion into a profession with roles at The Renaissance Club, where he built a strong foundation in the golf industry.
Craig brings a wealth of experience in stock and merchandise management. Before joining Gullane, he worked as a Stock Control Manager with Tesco, sharpening the organisational and analytical skills he uses every day. In a very different chapter of his life, Craig was also a professional poker player for several years after leaving school. Although he now plays purely for fun, that strategic mindset still shines through.
When he’s not at work, Craig spends most of his time with his girlfriend and their young daughter, Azalea, his greatest source of pride and motivation.

Myles Cunningham
PGA Professional
Myles is a PGA Golf Professional whose career blends international playing experience with a proven ability to develop golfers from grassroots level into elite, internationally capped performers. Having played and competed internationally as both an amateur and a professional across various tours, Myles brings an invaluable competitive perspective that strengthens his coaching philosophy and elevates the players he works with.
Dedicated to long-term player development, Myles has built his reputation on guiding golfers through each stage of their journey—introducing aspiring juniors to the game, building strong technical and tactical foundations, and supporting their progression into county, national, and international teams. His understanding of performance pathways enables him to tailor programmes that nurture talent while instilling the habits required for sustained success.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Myles remains actively engaged in PGA education, high-performance coaching networks, and emerging technologies that enhance player development. Drawing on his extensive competitive background and passion for coaching, he strives to help every golfer—whether beginner, developing talent, or aspiring elite athlete—reach their potential and enjoy the game at the highest possible level.

Lewis Hannah
PGA Professional
Lewis has been a PGA Professional at Gullane Golf Club since April 2022. Raised in East Lothian, Lewis developed his love for the game at The Musselburgh (Monktonhall) Golf Club, where his passion for golf and performance began. Before turning professional, he gained valuable industry experience working in the professional shop at The Musselburgh Golf Club before and during the COVID-19 pandemic while still an amateur.
Lewis thrives on working with golfers of all ages and abilities, delivering engaging lessons and expert custom fittings using the club’s outstanding practice facilities. He particularly enjoys the unique atmosphere at Gullane, where a traditional members’ club blends seamlessly with a vibrant multi-course visitor destination that attracts golfers from around the world to experience Scottish golf and culture at its best. He became a fully qualified PGA Professional in 2024, marking an important milestone in his professional development.
Alongside his club duties, Lewis is an active competitive professional, regularly competing in local and national events against PGA professionals, touring professionals, and elite amateurs. His competitive schedule includes events across the PGA in Scotland and the Edinburgh & East of Scotland Golf Alliance.
In August 2025, Lewis secured his first professional victory at Paisley Golf Club on the Golfbreaks GBTG Tour. Alongside this win, he recorded three second-place finishes during the season and went on to cap off a successful year by winning the tour’s Order of Merit at the completion of the 2025 GBTG season.
Away from the course, Lewis is a dedicated sports fan, enjoying football — as a supporter of the Rangers Football Club and the Scotland national football team — as well as Formula One, tennis, boxing, and mixed martial arts. If it’s live sport, he’s likely watching it intently.

Marc Owenson
PGA Professional
Marc grew up in Port Seton and learned to play the game at both Kilspindie Golf Club and Longniddry Golf Club. As a junior and senior golfer, he won multiple club championships and represented his club and county—experiences that formed the foundation of his competitive and professional journey.
He later earned a college golf scholarship in Arizona, which broadened his playing experience and deepened his understanding of the game. Upon returning to the UK, Marc joined Alasdair Good at Gullane, where he refined strong coaching skills and developed his expertise in custom fitting.
Marc achieved his PGA certification in 2018 and has continued to advance his coaching career ever since. Over the past five years, he has lived in Mexico, serving as Director of Instruction at the 5-star resort Diamante in Cabo San Lucas, where he coached a diverse international clientele in a world-class environment.
Remaining active as a playing professional has always been a core part of Marc’s identity. He continues to compete globally, including on the Gira de Mexico, within the PGA in Scotland region, and in Monday Qualifiers for the PGA Tour.
Marc’s career has taken him across continents, but his passion remains the same: to coach, to compete, and to continually develop both himself and the players he works with.

Harry Scott
PGA Professional
Born and raised in Hawick, Harry was introduced to golf by his dad and quickly developed a passion for the game while also playing rugby. Time spent at Hawick Golf Club, along with early guidance from coach Frank Scott, helped shape his development and sparked his ambition to pursue golf professionally.
Harry completed a BA (Hons) Degree in Professional Golf in Dornoch, combining academic study with hands-on experience. His development included a part-time food and beverage role in The Carnegie Club at Skibo Castle, along with internship positions at Dumbarnie Golf Links, Gullane Golf Club, and The Los Angeles Country Club.
Now a Fully Qualified PGA Professional, he returned full-time at Gullane, contributing across retail, member services, and professional shop operations. He has a strong interest in merchandising and enjoys helping present the shop to a high standard, while also supporting the professional shop social media.
Outside of work, Harry enjoys practising his own golf, spending time with family and friends, and visiting home — especially for Hawick’s Common Riding. He also plays the bagpipes at events or for personal enjoyment. Harry is committed to progressing as a coach and continuing his development within the professional shop team. -

Aaron Borthwick
Trainee PGA Professional
Born and raised in Coldstream, Aaron was introduced to golf at a young age by his parents, and it didn’t take long for his love of the game to develop—alongside his passion for football. His early years were spent at the Hirsel Golf Club, where he learned, practised, and developed his game.
Aaron began his career as a shop assistant at the Hirsel before moving onto the course as a greenkeeper, giving him valuable insight into both sides of club life.
Aaron is now embarking on his journey as a Trainee PGA Professional, combining formal training with hands-on experience at the club. He is developing strong skills across retail, member services, and the day-to-day running of professional shop operations, with a growing interest in coaching and supporting players at all levels. Committed and eager to learn, he is focused on building a long and successful career within the professional game.
Outside of work, Aaron enjoys practising his own golf, spending time with friends and family, and following his football team, Liverpool FC.
